Playdate and aussie grooming

This evening I gathered som aussie people from nearby (as well as a professional groomer who wanted to watch) mainly for a grooming demonstration, but as they all brought some of their dogs, we had a little playdate as well, with all the dogs running free around the house, some even enjoying a bath in a pool of melted snow.

Let me share some photos of the dogs playing. These photos includes my own dogs as well as Chili (the red tri aussie) and a young giant schnauzer boy:

The model of the day – N Uch Aussie Gården’s Jumping Jack Flash. Unfortunately the pictures taken during grooming were too light, due to the difficult light conditions (very sunny), but here’s the final result!

I hope we can arrange something like this again! Thanks for a lovely evening.

Extreme makeover

You’ll need this: a dirty dog, water, shampoo, grooming equipment and a bit of patience.

Zantus, 13 years old, before the makeover:

Better get him into the bath!

He really needed this now! Just look at all that dirt coming off.

And done! Zantus seemed very pleased with his new, handsome look 🙂

Finally spring!

The last few days have been just wonderful, with plenty of sunshine to melt the rest of the snow. Today was the first day this year we could actually walk around the whole field around the house. That requires some new photos as well 🙂

That’s all for today!
